OUR SERVICES - Courses
Young Pathfinders Program
The Young Pathfinders Program (YPP) is a program targeted towards 6th-8th grade students. The purpose of the Young Pathfinders Program is to help students learn about the career paths available to them in the future by having a lecture series from young adults within different industries.
In the past, we had lectures from data scientists, doctors, lawyers, financial analysts, teachers, engineers, and research scientists among other speakers.
Young Leadership Practicum
The Youth Leadership Practicum (YLP) is a program targeted towards 8th-10th grade students in preparation for them to lead projects and organizations themselves.
We generally expect 11th-12th graders to lead their own projects and organizations, and so we offer our 8th-10th grade students the opportunity to study and practice leadership and interpersonal skills through a combination of literature review and practice case studies.
Prestige STEM Academy
We have partnered with Prestige STEM Academy in Southern California to offer both full year classes as well as tutorials for most middle and high school level courses.
For students looking to take additional classes not offered in their schools (AP's, etc.), the full year classes can allow them to expand their knowledge with private high school resources. For students struggling in their classes, the tutorials (which can be 1-1 or group) can help them keep up.
OUR SERVICES - Extracurriculars
Leadership Projects
We have partnered with the non-profit, incubation organization Creative Odyssey to provide a platform for students to join and create their own projects and organizations.
Currently, we have had students build out a non- profit publication company, a volunteer science-tutoring business, a global climate change awareness organization, scientific research projects, volunteer literacy clubs, and video game design incubators among other projects currently being planned.
When students first join the Cambridge Education Consultation Group, we encourage them to start as members in existing leadership projects.
As they enter into their 11th and 12th grade years, we start facilitating their transfer to more senior leadership roles, or even help them build out new ideas within the umbrella of Creative Odyssey.
We believe that these projects allow students to develop strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and also allow them to do real work outside of academia.
Navigational Support
Students and parents often have trouble navigating their relationship as students reach middle and high school.
The delicate balance between discipline and support that parents need to provide is often difficult to strike, and so the Cambridge Education Consultation Group provides navigational support towards parents and students throughout the high school years.
Based on years of experience with over 5000+ student cases, we are able to share success stories and warn against potentially delicate situations.
Additionally, students often have trouble navigating their own emotional needs during this time.
The Cambridge Education Consultation Group is able to provide mental health support to young adults so that they can more effectively align their energy with their goals.
High school is a tough time, and at the Cambridge Education Consultation Group, we are able to help students and parents navigate common adolescent struggles.
